    At TE&A Hatchery LLC, we want customers to be satisfied with their chicken supplies and non-live merchandise. This policy applies to standard items such as feeders, waterers, incubators, thermometers, heat lamps, bulbs, nest boxes, nest pads, brooder supplies, and other general poultry supplies.


    Because many poultry-related items may come into contact with animals, bedding, feed, water, or outdoor conditions, returns are limited and reviewed on a case-by-case basis.


    Standard Chicken Supplies and Non-Live Merchandise

    Returns may be considered only if the item is:

    • Unused

    • Clean

    • In original condition

    • In the original packaging, when applicable

    • Requested within the approved return window


    TE&A Hatchery LLC reserves the right to deny returns for items that have been used, damaged, altered, installed, exposed to animals, or returned in unsellable condition.


    Non-Returnable Items

    For safety, sanitation, and biosecurity reasons, the following items may not be eligible for return:

    • Used feeders or waterers

    • Used incubators or brooder equipment

    • Heat lamps, bulbs, and electrical items that have been opened, used, or installed

    • Nest pads, bedding-related items, or items exposed to animals

    • Opened consumable products

    • Custom, special order, clearance, or final sale items

    • Any item returned dirty, damaged, incomplete, or without required parts


    Damaged, Defective, or Missing Items

    We do our best to package items carefully so they arrive safely. If your order arrives damaged, defective due to shipping, or missing parts, you must contact us within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.

    To request review of a claim, please provide:

    • Clear photos of the damaged item

    • Clear photos of the packaging and shipping box

    • A photo of the shipping label

    • Your order number

    • A brief description of the issue


    Approved claims may qualify for, at our sole discretion:

    • A replacement item

    • Store credit

    • A partial refund

    • Assistance with a carrier claim


    We do not guarantee a full refund for carrier damage, missing parts, or shipping-related issues unless the claim is approved.


    Incorrect Orders

    If you receive the wrong item or believe there was an error in your order, please contact us within 24 to 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos if applicable.


    If the mistake was ours, TE&A Hatchery LLC will review the issue and work to make it right through replacement, correction, store credit, or another appropriate solution.


    Return Shipping

    Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to an approved mistake by TE&A Hatchery LLC or an approved damage claim.


    Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless otherwise approved. Items must be packaged securely for return. TE&A Hatchery LLC is not responsible for items lost, damaged, or mishandled during return shipping.


    Order Cancellations

    Orders may only be canceled if the cancellation request is made before the order has been packed, prepared, or shipped.


    If a cancellation is approved, it may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover processing, payment, restocking, or scheduling costs.


    Once an order has been packed or shipped, it cannot be canceled and may no longer be eligible for refund.


    Refunds and Store Credit

    If a return, refund, or store credit is approved, it will be processed after the item or claim has been reviewed. Refunds may be issued to the original payment method when possible.


    TE&A Hatchery LLC reserves the right to offer store credit, replacement, partial refund, or denial of refund depending on the condition of the item and the details of the claim.


    Policy Acceptance

    By placing an order with TE&A Hatchery LLC, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to this return policy and understand the return limitations for chicken supplies, poultry equipment, and non-live merchandise.
